More Code of Federal Regulations – Mirror Link for Title 1 (2016) of the CFR

Well, it’s been a crazy couple of days: arrogant, threatening emails and phone calls from large multi-million dollar organizations (actually, just one organization: the Council on Foreign Relations), more time down at Fort Belvoir. The usual.

Putting aside, for a moment, the (as my Grandmother used to say) “Recent Unpleasantness,” let’s get back to the real business at hand, and the actual point of this website – the Code.  Of Federal Regulations, not DaVinci.

Let us begin at the beginning. Here, then, hosted on this site, is the latest revision of the 2016 Title I, zip compressed, as downloaded this afternoon:  1 CFR (2016)

In future updates, I’ll add additional files, as well as a facility for online browsing.  That is, assuming, of course, the Counsel on Foreign Relations is not successful in their grab for my domain.

Cheers!

Still Here – Your Unofficial Guide to the CFR

This site has been offline for a while.  We’re back.

Not to go on at length about it, since we’ve gone offline, a couple of things have happened.  First, your admin has had another back surgery.  After months of rehab, I’m pleased to be doing better.  The doctors and staff at Walter Reed and Fort Belvoir Hospital.  Those guys are real heroes, every day.

On a less personal note – Since my last notice about the state of the electronic CFR over at the GPO, things have improved considerably.  I’ll be posting the digital files here, as well as adding a facility for online browsing and comments.  Meantime, here’s a link to the hard copy over at Amazon for Title 11, perhaps the most interesting title, at the moment: Elections!

What I think is even more is even MORE interesting, however, is an unpleasant email exchange I’ve recently had, which will be the subject of my next post, today.  Check back for the sordid details.
